Description: On July 27, 2017, while lawfully present near Washington Avenue and East 167th Street in Bronx, NY, the plaintiff was unlawfully stopped, questioned, searched, battered, assaulted, arrested, and detained by the defendants, including Angel Cruz, John Doe and John Roe, in an excessive manner without legal justification and solely because of his age and race. After the plaintiff was arrested, he was taken to a local precinct, where he was unlawfully fingerprinted, photographed, and subjected to strip searches. Description: On December 13, 2016 Plaintiff was forcibly stopped by PO Angel Cruz and other POs who seized Plaintiff, pointed guns at him, forced him to the ground, and searched him without legal justification. POs thereafter forcibly detained Plaintiff supposedly for a purported crime victim to confirm whether Plaintiff was the perpetrator of said crime. Plaintiff was later told by officers he was not identified as the perpetrator of the crime and that he was free to leave. After leaving the scene Plaintiff returned, whereupon POs tried to question him but Plaintiff refused and requested their badge numbers.
