Description: On May 3, 2018, Plaintiff was aa passenger in a taxi and in the process of paying when he was forcibly grabbed and removed from the taxi by officers without justification. Plaintiff was then transported to the precinct where officers threatened to charge Plaintiff with various sex crimes if Plaintiff did not falsely confess to the possession of controlled substances. After Plaintiff refused to lie, officers falsely charged Plaintiff with sex trafficking. As a result, Plaintiff was incarcerated for eight months. Plaintiff was subsequently released when all charges were dismissed.

Description: On or about October 4, 2018, officers Anthony LaFarrell, Yajaira Galindez, Jose Ramirez, and certain unnamed officers illegally barged into Plaintiff's home without consent, probable cause, or an authorized search warrant. The officers illegally searched Plaintiff's home and person, and physically restrained him by the arms and wrists. The officers then violently contorted Plaintiff's arms and wrists behind his back and tightly applied handcuffs and shackles, causing him substantial pain.
