Complaint
Description: On September 5, 2022, defendants forcibly seized and used excessive force against plaintiff without justification or provocation. That use of force included slamming plaintiff to the ground, striking her in the head, choking him and forcibly applying handcuffs to plaintiff in an excessively tight manner. After that, defendants placed plaintiff under arrest and imprisoned her at various locations. The arrest was effectuated without a warrant and without probable cause. Defendants also initiated a criminal prosecution of plaintiff, charging her with crimes of which she was innocent, which defendants knew. This included knowingly making false statements about her.
