Description: On the afternoon of October 14, 2013, Plaintiff was in Saint Nicholas Park located between West 141st Street and West 135th Street in Harlem, New York. While he was there, Plaintiff saw two men fighting and then they separated and walked away. After the fight ended, Defendant Dorsey entered the park and began to arrest Mr. Wilkerson for fighting. Plaintiff verbally objected to the arrest, knowing that Mr. Wilkerson was not involved in the fight. Complaint
Description: On June 9, 2012, Plaintiff was unlawfully detained and falsely arrested by Officers Frank Manns and Tyrone Neal, among other unnamed NYPD officers. During the course of the arrest, while Plaintiff was handcuffed, Plaintiff was hit in the eye by an unnamed NYPD officer. Plaintiff was taken to an NYPD Precinct on June 9, and arraigned on charges filed based on the false allegations of Officers Manns and Neal on July 10. All charged against Plaintiff were adjourned in contemplation of dismissal on April 9, 2013, and later dismissed and sealed.
