Plaintiffs were then falsely arrested and POs violently contorted Plaintiffs' arms to affix handcuffs in an excessively tight fashion to their wrists. Plaintiffs requested that the handcuffs be loosened but their requests were ignored, resulting in Plaintiffs' hands sustaining loss of feeling, redness, and swelling. Description: On March 22, 2022, when plaintiff was driving a car, police officers Yoeldy Espinal (Shield No. 2470), Bismal Tineo (Sheild No. 3560), and other police officers pulled over the car, orderly everyone out of the car, and arrested Plaintiff. The officers did not say the reasons for the arrest nor did the offices find anything illegal. The officers used restrained the plaintiff with tight metal handcuffs causing pain and subjecting him to pat-down search. The officers lied to the DA that plaintiff engaged in the Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a charge that was later dismissed by court.

Description: On June 29, 2022, defendants approached Marcel Grant (Plaintiff) for no reason and summarily stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained him in an aggressive and excessive manner. Plaintiff was then subjected to a strip search while in the custody. He was later arraigned after his arrest and thereafter falsely and maliciously prosecuted with committing a crime. Plaintiff remained incarcerated for over 24 hours and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges against him were terminated favorably.

Description: On April 20, 2018, Luis Figueroa and Tanya Mucmacher were stopped on the sidewalk by NYPD oficers Detective Patrick Mcllmuray, omoni Ruggiero, and Juan Cruz. The officers only told Figueroa and Mucmacher that an incident had occurred and they fit the description. Within 15 minutes, Plaintiffs were surrounded by at least 15 additional oficers. They were arrested without being told on what charges. Eventually they learned a robbery had occured, and the police had allegedly told the victim, who could not make an identification because the robber was wearing a mask that covered everything but their eyes, to ID Figueroa and Mucmacher as the perpetrators. Charges dismissed December 2018.
