Complaint
Description: On May 22, 2020, at approximately 9:00 PM, Ernst Duverson was walking lawfully in front of 1113 East 98th Street in Kings County, New York, when he was stopped, searched, assaulted, and arrested by police officers, including Officer Vincenzo Chiarenza and an unidentified officer ("John Doe"). Duverson was detained at the 73rd Precinct and other locations without his consent. The officers allegedly verbally tormented him, called him names, and threatened him without provocation.
