Description: On February 22, 2013, Plaintiff 1 was arrested unlawfully in his home. On June 11, 2013, Plaintiff 2 was arrested unlawfully in his home. Both Plaintiffs were accused of being present in a woman's apartment with two other guys and allegedly stealing the woman's phone and iPad. Plaintiffs deny ever being in this apartment and do not know who that woman is. Plaintiff 1 was incarcerated for approximately 5 days until his mother posted bail. Plaintiff 2 was incarcerated for approximately 48 hours. On November 4, 2013, the case was dismissed. As a result of the unlawful arrest and imprisonment, Plaintiff 1 missed his GED classes and was required to re-take the program and Plaintiff 2 was fired from his job.
