Description: On May 22, 2022, Plaintiff was waiting for the subway train when he was unlawfully stopped, detained, searched, and arrested without probable cause. The officers accused Plaintiff of jumping the turnstile which Plaintiff denied. Plaintiff was transported to the precinct. The officers filed false allegations accusing Plaintiff of burglary and robbery that previously occurred in February and which Plaintiff had no connection to. As a result of these false statements, Plaintiff was sent to prison for one week before being released. All charges were subsequently dismissed.
