Description: ON July 5, 2023, NYPD Officers Singh, Peralta and others stopped, searched, pushed, assaulted, battered, violated and detained Plaintiff. The officers approached and arrested Plaintiff without an arrest warrant, probable cause or legal justification. Officers Singh, Peralta, and others then initiated a malicious prosecution against Plaintiff, causing him humiliation.
As a result of the excessive force used to search and detain Plaintiff, he sustained injuries to his head, neck, back, body and limbs. Plaintiff remain incarcerated for over 24 hours and was required to appear in court over an extended period of time until all charges against him were terminated.
