Description: On February 24, 2023, Mr. Ford was lawfully in the vicinity of Valentine Avenue and East 194th Street in the Bronx. Without an arrest warrant, probable cause, or any legal justification, the Defendant officers stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained Mr. Ford in an excessive manner. Ultimately, Mr. Ford was arraigned after his arrest and maliciously prosecuted with committing a crime. Mr. Ford remained incarcerated for over twenty-four hours and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time.
