Description: On June 12, 2015, plaintiff was in a stationary vehicle when defendant officer Alohan, in an unmarked police vehicle approached plaintiff's vehicle. Plaintiff started driving and defendant officer Alohan rammed into plaintiff's vehicle causing him to hit parked cars and come to a stop. The officer exited the vehicle with his gun drawn and threatened that he would shoot. Plaintiff ran away when defendant officer aimed and fired his handgun at the back of plaintiff. The shot passed through plaintiff's right forearm. Defendant police officer Alohan later made false allegations that plaintiff threatened him with a knife to justify the shot. Description: The plaintiff was walking when a police vehicle pulled over in front of the plaintiff. The officer asked for the plaintiff's ID and after giving it to the officer, the plaintiff panicked and began to run. Another police vehicle stopped in front of the plaintiff and the defendant officers handcuffed him, knocked him to the ground, assaulted him, sprayed him with mace, and slammed the plaintiff's face onto the concrete. The defendant officers then stomped on the plaintiff and continued to despite the plaintiff's cries that he could not breathe. The plaintiff lost consciousness and came to at a nearby hospital. The plaintiff was then brought to a Precinct for unspecified charges that were eventually dismissed.

Description: On May 22, 2010, plaintiff was walking to a church to turn in a gun he had found at a party when he was stopped in the street without cause by defendant officers Alohan and Cox. Defendant officers detained and searched the plaintiff and found the gun. Plaintiff attempted to explain to the defendant officers that he was on his way to turn in the gun, but the officers arrested plaintiff, handcuffed him, and transported him to the precinct. At the precinct, plaintiff was interrogated by defendant officers McGurran, Collao, and Desposito. All defendant officers then charged plaintiff with possession of the gun.
