Description: On February 19, 2023, around 11:30 A.M., while at her apartment located at 109-25 Merrick Blvd, Jamaica, NY, plaintiff Laquentta Wallace, answered her door to two uniformed police officers. Police informed Plaintiff that someone had called and stated that a person had a gun to their head. Plaintiff stated that no one had called from her apartment, Plaintiff opened the door and Police Officers entered the apartment without permission. Plaintiff was handcuffed and chocked and almost lost consciousness. Police encountered a locked bedroom door and took keys from Plaintiff to open the door.
