Description: On June 24, 2014, Jay Smith was driving down Berrimen Street when he noticed defendant P.O.s lights and sirens behind him. Smith pulled over and P.O.s approached the driver’s side of the car. P.O. Rodney Greenidge reached through the window and grabbed Smith by the shirt with one hand, then started to punch him with the other. Smith screamed for help, which caused Greenidge to hit him more while attempting to pull Smith through the window. Smith continued to scream for help, which caused passerby to stop and shout out Greenidge, who then backed off to allow Smith to unfasten his seat belt before he dragged Smith from the car. By this time, Smith’s shirt was ripped, and he had sustained numerous hits to his face...
