Description: On October 23, 2019, in front of 836 Olmstead Avenue, Bronx County, defendant NYPD officers Hasan Jenkins, Lewis Fredrick, and other officers falsely imprisoned and searched the plaintiff, wrongfully touched and punched him about his face and body, choked, grabbed, handcuffed, and seized him. Thereafter, the defendant officers arrested the plaintiff for disorderly conduct without justification and took him into custody at a local precinct in Bronx County for over 30 hours, until he was released without being charged. As a result, the plaintiff suffered permanent and severe psychological injuries.

Description: On or about August 5, 2019, 7 police officers Hasan Jenkins, Lewis Frederick, and John/Jane Doe I-V falsely imprisoned Michael Ramirez. Michael Ramirez was in front of 836 Olmstead Ave. Bronx when he was illegally searched by the above officers and were touched, punched, choked, grabbed and handcuffed without his consent. The police officers did not have a reason to arrest, search, or physically harass Ramirez. Ramirez from this event suffered not only physical pain and emotion suffering, but also imminent fear of physical violence by the police officers.
