Description: On or about June 29, 2023, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Infant-Plaintiff, whose age was less than 12 years old, was walking outside with her aunt when defendant NYPD officers stopped and arrested her without any legal justification. She was not told what she was arrested for. The officers pulled her shirt collar, pulled her arms, pressed her body against a concrete wall and handcuffed her in an excessively tight manner. They repeatedly lifted and dropped her, causing her to hit her head on the police vehicle. A defendant supervisor was present at the scene but failed to stop the unlawful arrest.

Description: On May 6, 2023, plaintiff was within a NYCHA building where she lived with her grandmother. Plaintiff was sitting on a stairway when she was approached by defendant NYPD Officers John Doe 1–5. Plaintiff stood up to leave when she saw them approach, and two officers ordered her to go up to the roof. When she declined and moved to go downstairs to her apartment, defendants pushed her, causing her to slip on the stairs.
