Description: On August 26, 2014, Defendants Police Officer Jessica Torres and Sergeant O'Connor arrested and handcuffed Plaintiffs in a park, then took them to the 9th Precinct. One Plaintiff was released following a Desk Appearance Ticket, and the other was taken to Central Booking and incarcerated for approximately 24 hours prior to accepting an Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal. Both Plaintiffs were maliciously prosecuted by Defendants Police Officer Jessica Torres and Sergeant O'Connor. Plaintiffs suffered physical, psychological, and emotional injuries as a result.
