Complaint
Description: On August 4, 2012, Officer Dey threw Plaintiff Croonquist to the ground, handcuffed her face down, and pinned her to the ground in front of her husband and two children. Plaintiff's husband was threatened with arrest and placement of his children into foster care. Plaintiff was detained for 17 hours. All charges were dismissed.
On May 17, 2012, 84 year old Plaintiff Capsis complained to NYPD Officer Rich about the inappropriate placement of his vehicle. In response, Officer Rich pinned Plaintiff to his vehicle, punched him in the face, and threw him to the ground. All charges were dismissed.
