Description: On July 24, 2018, Plaintiff Ray Carrion alleges that he was wrongfully and falsely arrested by NYPD Detectives Sean Meade and Melissa Joss of the 115th Precinct. The complaint states that without probable cause, Detectives Meade and Joss arrested Mr. Carrion, accusing him of witness tampering and other crimes. The complaint alleges that the officers caused the plaintiff to be prosecuted by making false accusations on various dates. Eventually, the charges against Mr. Carrion were dismissed in his favor by the Queens County Criminal Court on October 4, 2018.
