Description: On or about June 13, 2014, plaintiff was a passenger in his own car that he authorized his friend to drive when defendant POs Serrano and approximately 10-20 other POs stopped the vehicle for allegedly having tinted windows and ordered all occupants to exit the vehicle with their guns drawn and pointed at the occupants. Plaintiff was arrested alongside the other occupants and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and possession of ammunition for a weapon the POs allegedly saw in the back of the car, even though plaintiff had no knowledge of a weapon being present in the back of the car. All charges against the plaintiff were later dismissed.
