Description: On September 29, 2012, at approximately 2:00 a.m., in Brooklyn, New York, plaintiffs Joan, Mark, and Shane Morris experienced a violent home invasion by NYPD officers, including Police Officers Antoine Bert, Iliana Feliz, "John" Walter, and "Jane" Smith. Without probable cause or a warrant, the officers broke into their home with their guns drawn, forcibly pushed over Mark Morris, who is paralyzed and wheelchair-bound, then grabbed Shane Morris by the collar and dragged him to the bottom of the handicap ramp outside the home and arrested him. Mark was hospitalized for back pain and wheezing. The District Attorney's office declined to prosecute Shane, and he was released after approximately 24 hours in custod...
