Description: On or about August 26, 2014 at approximately 8:30 am, Plaintiff William Morant was on West 42nd Street near the intersection with 10th Avenue, when Defendants Detective Patrick Mooney, Police Officer James Nesdill, and several unidentified police officers accosted and arrested Plaintiff without any cause or just provocation, including physically attaching and verbally abusing Plaintiff. Plaintiff sustained physical injuries including a left-hand fracture. Plaintiff suffered from physical pain, mental anguish, shock, fright, apprehension, embarrassment and humiliation.

Description: On or about August 26, 2015, Defendants Detective Patrick Mooney, Police Officer James Nesdill, and a John Doe police officer wrongfully and without legal cause touched, grabbed, and handcuffed Plaintiff, causing him physical pain and mental suffering. Defendants approached Plaintiff with loaded firearms and outstretched limbs and other objects including handcuffs they used to place Plaintiff in imminent fear.
