Complaint
Description: On May 20, 2006, Plaintiff was approached by police officers Richard Collins, David Teta, Eric Cabrera, Alvarez, Jessica Alvarado, and Sergeant Brian Stamm. Without a warrant or legal basis, the officers seized, detained, and handcuffed Plaintiff. Officers violently grabbed Plaintiff and struck his head against a wall. The force lacked legal justification and it was not reasonable for the officers to believe such force was necessary. Plaintiff was searched at the time of his arrest.
