Description: On June 11, 2013, NYPD officers Scott Drummon and Tara Bannon-Albarano stopped plaintiff Giovanni Dimaggio’s vehicle while the plaintiffs were driving in accordance with the law. Officer Drummond approached the driver’s side window and asked for license and registration. Meanwhile, Officer Bannon-Albarano approached the passenger side window and began yelling and cursing at the plaintiffs. Plaintiff Domenica Dimaggio, who was in the passenger side of the vehicle, asked Bannon-Albarano if she was trying to harass her and the officer responded that to see harassment, she should get out of the car.
