Description: On or about August 28, 2024, Plaintiff was lawfully in a subway station when Defendant NYPD police officers, including Officer Islam unlawfully seized, searched, and falsely arrested Plaintiff for using a mobility scooter due to his disability. Plaintiff was charged with a violation although the violation did not apply to persons who required the use of a scooter due to disabilities. As a result of the acts committed by the Defendants, Plaintiff suffered severe emotional harm.
