Description: On March 2, 2020, Plaintiff Tracy McCarter was visited at her Manhattan residence by her estranged and abusive husband, James Murray. Mr. Murray had an extensive history of alcoholism and domestic violence toward Plaintiff. Plaintiff returned from work to find Mr. Murray waiting for her outside her apartment, at which point she allowed him inside to retrieve his medications and sleep on the couch.
