Description: On October 4, 2017, Plaintiff Marina Borisova was working behind the desk of the store which she is the owner and proprietor, when Defendant Friberg a former NYPD officer and current private investigator contracted by the city began browsing through the store. Defendant Friberg left the premises, and returned with defendants POs Drozd-Spidle and Coogan. Without a warrant, Defendants accused Plaintiff of selling counterfeit merchandise, demanded receipts of the goods on sale, and seized personal items from the plaintiff along with the items on sale.
