Description: On May 30, 2020 Salsabil Chowdhury and Sarawar Ahmed were lawful protestors in Times Square. As they were crossing the street and moving away from the protest, NYPD officers, on a loud speaker, ordered protestors to move off the streets. Chowdhury and Ahmed were already moving away, so they continued to comply. NYPD officers began to arrest protestors without cause, including Chowdhury. Chowdhury had committed no crimes or offenses, and was complying. An unknown officer grabbed her arms and pulled her toward him; Ahmed, seeing Chowdhury being grabbed, approached out of concern. P.O.s pushed both to the ground; two pushed Chowdhury face down into the ground and zip-tied her arms overly tight. Three officers took...
