Description: On July 25, 2013, Leonard Reddick was outside his residence at 2069 Union St., Brooklyn, NY. He had returned from work and was speaking with several neighbors and family members. At approximately 10pm, several police cars pulled up and an officer, believed to be a Sergeant, got out. He approached Mr. Reddick and demanded to see his identification. The officer told Mr. Reddick that if he didn’t have identification he was getting locked up. Mr. Reddick explained that he lived with his mother in the building they were standing in front of and showed the officer a paystub from his job.
