Description: On July 6, 2014, Plaintiff was with relatives when Defendant Officers Isaacs and Maziarz approached and accused Plaintiff's relative of setting off fireworks. Plaintiff peacefully told the Defendant Officers that no such event occurred. The Defendant Officers were enraged by this and proceeded to violently throw the Plaintiff to the ground. Defendant Officers struck Plaintiff with a baton, punched and kicked him in the head, and tightly handcuffed him. Description: On July 6, 2014, around 7:30 p.m., plaintiff was with his cousins when he heard the sound of firecrackers down the block. He observed his cousin's friend being wrongfully accused of lighting the firecrackers and taken into custody by police officers. The officers appeared to be assaulting his friend. When plaintiff inquired about the officers' actions, he was tackled, handcuffed, falsely arrested, and taken to a precinct. There, the defendant officers falsely claimed they had observed plaintiff obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
