Description: On March 9, 2017, plaintiff was lawfully present in the street, when defendant POs, without reasonable suspicion or probable cause, stopped, questioned, frisked and arrested him. At no point did plaintiff commit a crime or did defendant POs have an objective reason to believe that plaintiff committed a crime. Plaintiff was then transported to the precinct where he was subjected to a strip search. At Central Booking, defendant POs provided the District Attorney's Office with false, misleading and/or incomplete information that plaintiff possessed a controlled substance. The District Attorney, however, declined to prosecute plaintiff and plaintiff was released from custody.

Complaint
Description: On October 17, 2014, at approximately 6pm, Plaintiff was listening to music in the front passenger seat of her friend's car parked in front of a Rite Aid. An officer tapped on the passenger window and told Plaintiff to step out, which she obliged. An officer then proceeded to arrest Plaintiff for possession of a forged instrument without reason or cause. Plaintiff did not have any counterfeit money on her person. Plaintiff was incarcerated for approximately 29 hours and attended three court appearances. On January 29, 105, her case was dismissed on motion of the prosecutor.
