Description: On May 4, 2021, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Plaintiff Henry Schiff, was at the southeast corner of Pike Street and Cherry Street, New York, NY after stopping his bike ride to talk to an acquaintance near the Lower East Side Coleman Skate Park. After dismounting his bike and before speaking to the acquaintance, Defendants--NYPD Police Officers Nicholas Contardo and NYPD Police Officers John/Jan Doe Numbers 1-10--immediately and unlawfully searched and handcuffed the Plaintiff without any probable cause. When Plaintiff asked the Defendants why he was being arrested, they stated "You know what you did" and nothing further.
