Description: On October 04, 2023, around 11:00 p.m. near 730 Kelly Street, Bronx, New York, plaintiff S'Kwan Acosta was searched, seized, and arrested without legal justification. Police officers subjected Plaintiff to physical harm including battery to the head, neck, back, body, and limbs. Plaintiff was incarcerated for over 24 hours and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time. Plaintiff needed to seek medical assistance, incur expenses, and was unable to perform his work duties as a result of the police activities.
