Description: On October 2, 2010, plaintiff, a 30-year-old African American, walked into the 71st Police Precinct in Brooklyn, New York, to retrieve his identification mistakenly taken earlier during a summons issuance by officers, including defendants NYPD Sergeant Gabrielle Walls and Officer America Jacques. The officers told plaintiff that they had mistakenly arrested his friend earlier and meant to arrest him on an alleged outstanding warrant. The contents of plaintiff's pockets were removed. Plaintiff had no alleged contraband or weapons.
