Description: Defendant officers approached Plaintiff while he was sitting in his mother's car in the driveway of his building and stated that the car was stolen. Even though Plaintiff showed him verifying documentation, Plaintiff was handcuffed, arrested, and brought to a precinct. Defendant Officer Gun stated that in arrest paperwork that she saw Plaintiff in possession of a quantity of marijuana. Plaintiff was charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the 5th degree and unlawful possession of marijuana, which were ACD'd at arraignments.

Description: On May 13, 2012 Plaintiff was lawfully present outside a friend's house when PO Jovanni Jennings and other POs arrived and, without legal justification, approached Plaintiff and searched him. Plaintiff complied and no contraband was found, but regardless, PO Jennings and other POs began to beat Plaintiff with their fists and weapons. Plaintiff was held at gunpoint and handcuffed, and POs continued to beat Plaintiff after he was handcuffed. Plaintiff was then taken to the 69th Precinct where he was held for several hours before he was taken to a hospital for the injuries inflicted on him by POs.
