Description: On May 12, 2017, the plaintiff was driving in Manhattan around West 187th Street and Broadway, abiding by all traffic rules, when an NYPD vehicle—driven by Officer Michael Quinones, accompanied by Officer Myers—approached her from behind. The NYPD vehicle collided with the rear of the plaintiff's vehicle, causing the plaintiff to lose control and collide with two other vehicles in front of her. The plaintiff's car was totaled. She suffered a large abdominal hematoma, among other physical and emotional damage. Description: Plaintiffs were leaving a club when a fight broke out which they weren't involved in. Defendant Officers arrived and began pepper spraying everyone. When one Plaintiff protested, he was put in a chokehold , handcuffed, and assaulted. Officers then assaulted and arrested Plaintiff Sr.. Both Plaintiffs were charged with Assault in the Second Degree, OGA, and Resisting Arrest, which were later dismissed.
