Description: On March 18, 2024, around approximately 2:30 PM, plaintiff was in the vicinity of West 40th Street and Ninth Avenue, where police officer Nikolaos and 10 other unidentified (John Doe) officers stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, handcuffed and detained him, all in an excessive manner and without proper cause.
Plaintiff was taken to a police station, where he remained incarcerated for over 24 hours. At the police station, plaintiff was forced to have his fingerprints and photographs taken without consent. Description: On September 13, 2020, plaintiff encountered Officers McIntyre and Jiminez around Washington Square Park. The officers unlawfully searched plaintiff and used excessive force. Specifically, they threw him to the ground and punched him resulting in a fracture of his right arm and shoulder. The plaintiff complained, but was transported to the precinct without medical attention. At the precinct, he again complained, received medical attention, and was diagnosed with a bone fracture in his right arm. Officers Liandrakis and Treubig made false charges against plaintiff to the DA of various offenses, despite having not observed plaintiff violate any laws.
