Description: On January 7, 2022, the Plaintiff was illegally stopped by Office Nicholas Angello, Officer Daniel Watson, and Lieutenant Henry Daverin in Brooklyn. The NYPD officers had no basis for the stop and used the pretext that Plaintiff did not have a valid license and that his windows were illegally tinted to search the vehicle at the precinct, both of which were demonstrably untrue at the time of the stop. Plaintiff was then taken to the precinct, where an unknown officer told the Plaintiff that the arrest was "bullshit" but they had to take him in and that they would likely issue a Desk Appearance Ticket.
