Description: On June 4, 2020, Plaintiff was participating in a protest when NYPD officers kettled him and other protesters and proceeded to assault and arrest Plaintiff without justification. Individual NYPD Officers struck Plaintiff, removed and threw Plaintiff's prescription glasses, and placed Plaintiff in zip ties/flex cuffs incorrectly such that is caused strain to Plaintiff's arm and back. Plaintiff was arrested and taken into custody, where he remained for hours without receiving medical treatment for his head wound and other injuries.
