Description: On May 30, 2020, on the street, NYPD officers arrested Plaintiff without justification or probable cause using unwarranted and excessive force. The officers physically and intentionally interfered with Plaintiff’s personal property, including by breaking and/or causing damage to Plaintiff’s camera. Plaintiff suffered specific and serious bodily injury and emotional distress. Plaintiff was transported to a police precinct and spent hours in custody before he was finally issued a summons and released. While Plaintiff was in custody, NYPD officers denied and/or delayed providing him reasonable, good faith medical attention. The summons issued to Plaintiff was dismissed before the court date.
