Description: On September 3, 2021, Anthony Martin was heading to his local neighborhood bodega on foot to purchase a soda. As Mr. Martina was walking towards the corner of Beach 54th Street and Beach Channel Avenue in Queens county, he encountered multiple uniformed NYPD officers Jendzo and Lynch. Defendant Officer Jendzo grabbed Mr. Martin's arm and pushed him to the ground. Once on the ground, Officer Lynch struck Mr. Martin's face multiple times. While on the ground, NYPD officers, including Jendzo, put their knee in Mr. Martin's back causing extreme pain and difficulty breathing.
