Description: On July 8, 2023, Plaintiff Jabrial Mitchell was approached by NYPD officers Rafal Korycki and Vickram Manni while standing near 345 Thatford Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. Despite complying with the officers' orders, Defendant Korycki aggressively arrested Jabrial without probable cause, using excessive force, including choking and slamming his head and body aggressively to the ground, forcefully twisted his arm behind his back, and placing him in overtight handcuffs.
