Description: On April 28, 2015, plaintiff was lawfully walking on the public sidewalk on 8th avenue between 35th and 36th street, New York, when defendant police officers, without any probable cause or legal justification, summarily stopped, searched, and arrested plaintiff. Plaintiff was then taken into custody for a few hours before being released. As a result of the incident, plaintiff sustained severe physical injury and emotional trauma.

Complaint
Description: On May 17, 2011 at 1233 Trouy Avenue in Brooklyn, Plaintiff was on his friends' porch when a police van arrived and Detective Resto and other officers exited the van. Resto pointed his gun at plaintiff, threatened to kill him and handcuffed him. After the false arrest, plaintiff was in van for several hours and wasn't allowed to use the restroom. After the illegal strip search, nothing was found on plaintiff. On June 12, 2011 at 6pm inside a subway station at 5th avenue and 44th street in Manhattan, Sgt Christopher Chan and two other officers arrested plaintiff without reason. Chan, pointed his gun at plaintiff and ordered plaintiff to get on the ground.
