Description: On November 20, 2013, Plaintiff was going to a local convenience store located on 176th Street and Morris Avenue, in Bronx, NY. A female acquaintance of Plaintiff’s (Janice) was standing across the street from him. Janice called out to Plaintiff, who crossed the street and gave Janice three dollars. Plaintiff continued walking toward the local convenience store. Plain-clothed defendant Officers pulled up behind Plaintiff in an unmarked police cruiser. Without probable cause, Defendants Deftereos and Doe charged Plaintiff from behind, violently shoved him against a gate, and demanded that Plaintiff surrender the alleged contraband on his person. Defendant Officers aggressively interrogated Plaintiff and demanded...
