Complaint
Description: On February 24, 2017, Plaintiff was present at the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and 68th Street in Queens when he was approached and stopped by Defendant Police Officers. Defendant Officers falsely arrested Plaintiff, using excessive force in the process (including kicks, punches, and other physical force). At no time did Defendants have probable cause to arrest Plaintiff. Plaintiff was subsequently falsely imprisoned. Plaintiff alleges that he was targeted by Defendant officers because of racial profiling. Plaintiff was later criminally charged by Defendants, and all charges were dismissed in favor of Plaintiff.
