Description: On November 10, 2013, Crystal Tong became involved in an incident with NYPD officers Christop Weigand and Jason Katibak, among others, which led to her experiencing excessive force and arrest under distressing circumstances. While at a nightclub, a verbal altercation involving her fiancé led to his arrest by the officers. When Tong inquired about the reason for the arrest, she was pushed, elbowed in the neck, and maced by an officer. Despite her non-resistance and asthmatic condition, she was denied her asthma pump and subjected to derogatory remarks.
