Description: On July 1, 2014, defendants arrived at plaintiffs' shared apartment. Lumpkin was home; Lloyd was not. Defendants informed plaintiff Lumpkin to accompany them to the 13th precinct. She was transported to the stationhouse but was not handcuffed. Once there, she was falsely informed that she was not under arrest. Plaintiff was held in custody for approximately nine hours, and released by defendant Brehm only after she
promised to produce plaintiff Lloyd at the stationhouse on some future date. Defendant Brehm falsely issued a desk appearance ticket accusing plaintiff Lumpkin of petit larceny. That charge was ultimately dismissed.
