Complaint
Description: On July 4, 2023, Plaintiff was lawfully in his vehicle in front of a premises in the Bronx, when Defendant police officers Aidan Murphy, Kenneth Woisin, Michael Segarra and John Doe officers, forced Plaintiff to exit his vehicle and was approached, assaulted, battered and arrested by Defendants. The assault and battery consisted of being grabbed, thrown to the ground, punched, kicked, struck with knees and forcibly placed in handcuffs. While Plaintiff was initially denied medial attention he was ultimately treated at Jacobi Hospital.

Description: On April 30, 2020, Michael Segarra and Sergeant Marquez unlawfully approached Plaintiff on the street, without probable cause or other justification for the arrest or seizure. Plaintiff had multiple assaults and batteries committed by the defendants. Plaintiff was unlawfully rear-handcuffed by the defendants and transported to the 49th NYPD Precinct, where Plaintiff was illegally searched, questioned, photographed and fingerprinted by the defendants. As a result of defendants' intentional false statements and allegations, Plaintiff was falsely arrested and charged with crimes. All charges were dismissed.
