Description: On August 18, 2017 at approximately 2 am, Plaintiff was sitting on a bench in the vicinity of the front of 701 Gates Avenue, Brooklyn, when Defendant police officers unlawfully stopped and searched plaintiff without probable cause. Defendants put tight handcuffs on Plaintiff, causing Plaintiff injury to his hands, and when Plaintiff asked to loosen the handcuffs the Defendants refused and arrested him and took him to the 81st precinct where he was held for 12 hours in unlawful custody. Plaintiff was then taken to to Brooklyn County Central Booking and put in a holding cell where Plaintiff felt dizzy and fainted because he is a diabetic.
