Description: On September 26, 2015, plaintiff was unlawfully pulled over while driving and detained and arrested without probable cause. Plaintiff was unlawfully searched and taken to the precinct to be photographed and have his fingerprints taken. Plaintiff was released after five hours but subsequently falsely charged with a crime. The DA office declined to prosecute and all charges were dismissed.

Description: On March 9, 2013, Kimani Gebarrie Gray was walking on the sidewalk with a few friends intending to attend a birthday party. Sergeant Mourad Mourad and Officer Jovaniel Cordova of the NYPD pulled up in an unmarked vehicle. After one of the officers loudly asked Kimani where his brother was, the officer then said "You're not going to be nothing when you grow up. You're going to be just like your brother." Kimani then turned his back to the officers, and in an attempt to leave, tried to hop over a gate to a driveway. Defendants Mourad and Cordova stopped and seized Kimani by pointing their firearms.
