Description: On December 18, 2019, Plaintiff A was falsely arrested for a period of seven days without probable cause. He was taken into custody while driving Plaintiff B's car. He noticed police helicopters hovering above as he was driving. He was ordered to stop by police vehicles driving behind him. He pulled over and around 10 officers got out of their vehicles and pointed their guns at him. Plaintiff A was handcuffed and taken into custody and was held in a cell for several hours before being transported to the precint. Plaintiff B's bail was set at $600,000 so he was therefore held for around seven days before being released. All charges against Plaintiff A were dismissed on May 11, 2021.
